Mr Alex Tan was appointed Chief Information Officer of Yinson Production in June 2024. He originally joined Yinson Holdings Berhad as Group Chief Information Officer in April 2022.

Mr Tan has over 23 years of experience in Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Software Engineering, cross-industry IT Consulting, and Digital Transformation.

Mr Tan holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Mr. Bill Maurice joined Yinson Production as Senior Vice President of HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) in 2022.

He brings over 20 years of global experience in managing governance, risk, and compliance within multinational, high-risk, and high-consequence industries. This experience includes working with companies renowned for their best practices in environments where perceptions of risk vary considerably.

Mr. Maurice holds a BSc in Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management from Curtin University (Australia).

HÃ¥vard Johansen

Senior Vice President HR, Admin and IT

Mr. HÃ¥vard Johansen was appointed Senior Vice President (SVP) of HR and Administration in 2023. He joined Yinson Production in 2018 and has previously held the roles of HR and Crewing Manager and Head of HR and Crewing.

He brings 29 years of experience from the private, humanitarian, and public sectors, focusing on operations, leadership, and HR, with the last 6 years specifically in the FPSO industry.

Mr. Johansen holds a Bachelor in Leadership and Operations, is a Staff College Graduate, and has completed three Executive Master of Management programs specializing in Leadership, Strategic HR, and Organisational Communication.

Ivar Lysberg

Qualifications and experience highlights

Mr Ivar Lysberg joined the Company in January 2007 and was appointed SVP Operations in June 2015. 

Lysberg has almost three decades of experience in the international Oil and Gas Industry including leadership roles both within Engineering, Commissioning, Project Management, Business Development and Operations.

Mr Lysberg holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a degree in Business Economics. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mr. Kevin Tan was appointed Senior Vice President (SVP), Project Delivery & Supply Chain on 1 November 2024. He joined Yinson Production in 2016 and has previously held the roles of Project Services Manager and Vice President (VP) Project Services, where he was a core member of the project execution and management team on FPSO projects.

Mr. Tan has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with the last 18 years specifically in FPSO projects. His career spans roles with leading international oil and gas service companies, with involvement in engineering, procurement and construction of FPSOs, offshore platforms, and offshore field development project.

Mr. Tan holds a BSc in Technology and Management from Monash University.

PÃ¥l Gunnar Heistad

Mr PÃ¥l Gunnar Heistad was appointed SVP Business Development 1st April 2023. He joined Yinson Production 1st February 2016 as Tender Manager and 1st July 2020 he was appointed VP Business Development.

Mr Heistad has over 23 years international experience in the oil and gas industry, from which 18 years with developing FPSO projects. He has also been working with SURF in projects and topside EPC projects. 

Mr Heistad holds a Master of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has also completed the Program for Management Development at IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Alessandro Zunino

Mr Alessandro Zunino joined Yinson Production as appointed SVP Commercial on 8th July 2025.

Mr Zunino has over 28 years international experience in the oil and gas industry developing FPSO projects in Africa, Soth America and Asia.

Mr Zunino holds a Master of Engineering in Process Engineering from the University of Genoa Italy.
