Onshore capture

Carbon Removal

Carbon Removal is developing, in collaboration with Yinson Production, a large-scale Direct Air Capture project at Kollsnes, Norway, combining access to low-carbon power with proximity to permanent CO2 storage infrastructure. The collaboration brings together Carbon Removal’s project development capabilities with Yinson Production’s infrastructure development, financing and execution expertise.

Carbon Circle

Yinson Production collaborates with Carbon Circle as a carbon capture technology and engineering partner to develop scalable carbon capture solutions for industrial emitters.

Floating Infrastructure

K Line

K-Line and Yinson Production are jointly developing solutions for the transportation and injection of liquefied CO2. K-Line is also a long-standing partner of Yinson Production through co-ownership in the FPSO Anna Nery and FPSO JAK.

Provaris

Yinson Production and Provaris are jointly developing large, low-pressure LCO2 tank solutions for floating, ship-based and onshore applications. The collaboration supports integration of larger tank technology into FSIU and LCO2 carrier concepts, with the aim of improving cargo efficiency and reducing transport and storage costs.

Connecting CO2 to permanent storage

Harbour

Harbour Energy is the operating partner in the Havstjerne licence. The collaboration with Harbour Energy supports the development of a full-value-chain carbon storage solution.

SLB

SLB is the strategic reservoir partner for the concept and front-end engineering and design (FEED) phases of Havstjerne. SLB will coordinate an integrated scope spanning the subsurface and reservoir, injection wells, subsea infrastructure and plans for monitoring stored CO2.

Technologies

Ionada

Yinson Production has made a strategic investment in Ionada PLC to help drive the development of Compact Carbon Capture systems. Ionada’s membrane contactor system is aimed at decarbonising medium-sized hard-to-abate industries, both onshore and offshore.

Provaris

Yinson Production and Provaris are jointly developing large, low-pressure LCO2 tank technology that can support floating, ship-based and onshore CO2 applications. The technology is intended to improve storage density, cargo efficiency and the economics of CO2 transportation and handling.
