Stella Maris CCS
Stella Maris CCS is energy transition, focused on developing and integrating the infrastructure required to connect industrial emitters with permanent CO2 storage.
Carbon Capture Solutions
From Capture technology to an operating industrial asset
Technology, engineering, execution and long-term performance must work together.
Each industrial site has different flue-gas conditions, utilities, space constraints, heat-integration opportunities and CO2 specifications. Stella Maris CCS integrates these requirements with selected technologies and engineering partners into solutions that can be developed, delivered and operated as part of the emitter's industrial system. The Lease & Operate model aligns customer and contractors incentives to ensure cost-efficient, timely and reliable delivery of services.
More than technology. More than capital. A Lease & Operate model aligning interest.
Technology & process
Flue-gas characterisation, pre-treatment, capture technology selection, mass and energy balance and performance requirements.
Industrial integration
Steam, power, cooling, heat recovery, plot space, tie-ins, constructability, operability and maintainability.
CO2 conditioning
Compression, dehydration, liquefaction and export specification aligned with downstream transportation and storage.
Intermediate storage
Buffer storage, capacity sizing, pressure and temperature management, inventory control and integration with downstream transport schedules.
CO2 offloading

Stella Maris Carbon Capture develops the Carbon Capture project around the emitter's needs. Integrating engineering, technology, commercial structure, execution planning, financing architecture and long-term operating experience.
Our objective is not to replace technology suppliers or the emitter's existing partners. It is to create the project structure that connects them into a deliverable, investable and operable asset.
Execution & Delivery Model
A delivery model built around the emitter – not around an equipment package.
Protect capital priorities
Long-term thinking and delivery certainty optimizes capital allocation for the customer.
Strengthen delivery certainty
Bring complex-infrastructure execution experience into project development.
Execution & delivery model
Reduce interface complexity
Create clearer accountability across technology, integration, execution and operations.
Aligned for Long-Term Performance
Long-term ownership and operations naturally align incentives, enabling better planning and a shared focus on sustained asset performance.
CCS Value Chain
Connecting capture with transportation, injection and storage.
Stella Maris CCS develops infrastructure concepts and capabilities that can serve different CCS projects and qualified storage licences.
Industrial Emitters
CO2 Terminals
Marine Transportation
Offshore Injection
Permanent Geological Storage
Permanent Geological Storage Integration
Connecting CO2 to permanent storage
Offshore Injection
Flexible offshore injection infrastructure
The FSIU concept is designed to receive up to 100,000 m3 of liquid CO2 delivered via CO2 carriers and inject up to 10 million tonnes of CO2 per year. The concept can be tailored to project, location, storage licence and capacity requirements.
Marine Transportation
Flexible marine transportation for a growing CCS market
Marine transportation can connect geographically distributed industrial clusters and terminals with different offshore storage locations.
Stella Maris CCS is developing large LCO2 carrier concepts intended to move greater volumes at a lower cost per tonne and to serve multiple CCS projects rather than one specific storage development.
