FPSO Helang is Yinson Production’s first vessel to operate in a Malaysian field and has been positively contributing to the country’s energy mix. The asset achieved first oil on 6 December 2019 and has a production capacity of producing 12,000 barrels of oil per day. Now entering its fifth year of operation, FPSO Helang has consistently demonstrated a commitment to success and adherence to high HSE standards, which is a testament to the cultivation of strong alliances with likeminded partners. 4 years LTI Free Operations – 20 January 2024
The Helang operations team has achieved 4 years of LTI-free operations on 20 January 2024. They have accumulated 1.8 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (“LTI”) and took pride in their safety culture, continuing to maintain the highest standards.

Focus Recognition by Nippon – 11 January 2024
On 11 January 2024, FPSO Helang Operations received the prestigious ‘Focus’ recognition from Nippon, highlighting our commitment to excellence. Nippon highlighted notable achievements such as, Zero LTIs, Zero Minor and Major Spill, Overall Facility availability and exceeding annual gas sales target based on daily nomination.

4 Years of Successful Operation – 6 December 2023
6 December 2023 marked a significant achievement as FPSO Helang celebrated four years of uninterrupted operations. The success was acknowledged onshore and offshore, with a memorable team-building activity and dinner to honour the dedicated crew.

Focus Recognition Award by Petronas MPM – 10 August 2023
Adding to our accolades, FPSO Helang received the ‘Focus’ recognition award from Petronas Malaysia Petroleum Management (“MPM”) on 10 August 2023. This accolade is a tribute to our team’s proficiency in accomplishing 26 incident-free offtakes achieved over three and a half years.

Client Nippon’s 20th Anniversary Celebration – 26-28 October 2023
