As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Angola, Yinson Production conducted a capacity-building programme from April to September 2026, aimed at promoting social inclusion, skills development and community empowerment.

The programme brought together teachers and caregivers from three childcare centres: MISFRON Centre, Não Há Órfãos de Deus Centre and Pequena Semente Centre. Participants received practical training in Creative Sewing, Basic Computer Skills, Culinary Arts and Educational Support Assistance.

Designed to enhance both personal and professional development, the training equipped participants with valuable skills and knowledge to strengthen their caregiving and educational practices. Throughout the programme, participants demonstrated strong commitment and enthusiasm, gaining greater confidence in their ability to support the children under their care.

The programme concluded with a certificate award ceremony attended by Yinson Production representatives José Ferreira, Country Manager; Cleyde Luis, Maintenance Engineer; and Ndilia Francisco, Local Content, CSR & Permits Coordinator.

A total of 27 certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the training courses, marking an important milestone in their learning and development.

Through this initiative, Yinson Production continues to support community development by creating opportunities for skills enhancement, improving employability and fostering social inclusion. The programme also reflects the company’s commitment to making a meaningful and lasting contribution to the communities where it operates.
