Yinson Production recently sponsored 10 participants from Ghana for a Bespoke Train-the-Trainer Pipefitting course at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore, in partnership with Petroleum Commission, Ghana. This initiative is a collaborative effort to promote continuous learning and community development, emphasising Yinson Production’s commitment to empowering local communities and fostering international cooperation. Throughout the 6-month programme, Yinson Production will also provide mentorship and guidance, offering theoretical and practical insights to ensure the participants' success.

Before the programme commenced, Naa Opoku Agyeman, Managing Director of Yinson Production Ghana and her team met with the participants and some representatives from Petroleum Commission at the Yinson Production office in Ghana to align the programme coordination. This meeting underscored Yinson Production's dedication to thorough preparation and effective communication, ensuring that the initiative is seamlessly executed.

On the 27 May 2023, delegates from Petroleum Commission Ghana visited the participants in Singapore to offer support and encouragement. The group started with a visit to Ngee Ann Polytechnic where they were being briefed on the course overview, followed by a tour of the campus, visiting the different labs related to the course module. This visit showcased the high-quality educational environment and resources made available to the participants.

The following day, the delegates also met with our management team for a networking session, further strengthening our partnership. We were honoured to present tokens of appreciation to commemorate this collaboration, symbolising the strong ties between Yinson Production and Petroleum Commission, Ghana.
