On 29 June 2024, Yinson Production Miri, in collaboration with Pustaka Miri (Sarawak State Library, Miri Branch), hosted a joyous Children’s Day Celebration for Orphanage Kompleks Kebajikan Hamidah Yakup (PERYATIM) at Piasau Boat Club. Dato Sabri, CEO of Yinson Energy was present to deliver the opening speech and graced the event. 

Team members from Yinson’s Kuala Lumpur office also joined in the festivities, making it a truly special day. The children were treated to a fun-filled afternoon of educational activities, laughter, and excitement. They eagerly explored various stalls, including a popcorn machine, candy floss, and a bouncing castle. 

Pustaka Miri engaged the younger children with artsy crafts and storytelling sessions, while the older children showcased their creativity in the Makerspace activity, designing crafts with 3D pens. The children were divided into teams for a tele-match, which they truly enjoyed. The event concluded with a scrumptious feast against the backdrop of a beautiful beach view, and each child received a goodie bag.  

This heartwarming event reinforced Yinson Production’s commitment to giving back to the community, as the joy and gratitude on the children’s faces left a lasting impression on all involved.
