Yinson Production Brazil has partnered with Dream Learn Work (“DLW”) since 2022 to empower young Brazilians from less developed areas to achieve a better future through education and providing professional work experience.
Together, they sponsored 15 young women from impoverished communities in Rio de Janeiro who have completed a 6-month training program, preparing them for administrative roles.
Yinson Brazil had recently celebrated the graduation of these young women. During the celebration, the HR Team invited representatives from recruitment agencies and other human resources professionals in the oil and gas sector. The intention was to showcase the graduates’ resumes, profiles, and history, helping them secure their first jobs in the industry. The initiative aimed to foster connections between professionals and the young women, providing the graduates with valuable insights and professional tips.
Yinson Brazil’s country manager, Mr Thiago Freitas commented, “Our projects with DLW aim to support the education and empowerment of young people who are economically vulnerable. We look forward to more opportunities to positively impact our society and to create a brighter future for the youths.”
DLW, a non-profit organization established by Norwegian companies operating in Rio de Janeiro, strives to help young Brazilians from developing regions achieve better futures through educational training. Yinson’s partnership with DLW is part of their commitment to promoting quality education and effective learning for all.
