As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Yinson Production in Angola recently organized a solidarity-driven initiative to foster social inclusion and improve access to education.

This initiative supported 202 children, comprising 182 from the “A Pequena Semente” shelter and 20 children with disabilities affiliated with ANDA, the National Association of Persons with Disabilities in Angola, through the donation of school kits.

The event highlighted Yinson’s commitment to community well-being and the values of empathy, inclusion, and corporate responsibility. A cultural and educational exchange added significance to the day, featuring a special percussionist whose story inspired the children by demonstrating that everyone has a valuable role in society, regardless of their challenges.

The children showcased their talents through poetry recitations and participated in inclusive games led by a clown, ensuring all children were engaged and celebrated. The activity concluded with a communal snack that encouraged togetherness and joy among participants.

The event was honored by the presence of Ivar Lysberg, Senior Vice President Operations, José Ferreira, Country Manager, Evalice Guilherme, Office Administrator, and Ndilia Francisco, Local Content, CSR & Permits Coordinator.

This initiative not only contributed to education but also reinforced the importance of diversity, inclusion, and empowerment within the local community.
