Yinson Production  Angola conducted a community engagement activity in Soyo to honor the Sobas, the traditional chiefs and local authorities in the areas where our FPSO operations are based. The event included a symbolic donation of essential goods as a gesture of respect for the Sobas’ role in preserving cultural identity, strengthening social cohesion, and enabling constructive dialogue between communities and industry.

By working closely with traditional leadership, Yinson Production Angola aims to ensure that external initiatives are integrated in a way that supports local needs and respects cultural practices. This approach reflects the company’s commitment to inclusion, sustainability, and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

The Yinson Production Angola team was represented by Country Manager José Ferreira, Local Content, CSR and Permits Coordinator Ndilia Francisco, and Logistics Officer Andre Ngumbo. Their participation reinforced our ongoing effort to build trusted relationships with host communities.
