On 15 December, Yinson Production Angola carried out a community engagement initiative in Soyo, Angola reinforcing its commitment to local development in the area where Agogo FPSO operates.

The initiative focused on supporting education at Escola do Ensino Primário Nº 284, Kindombele, Soyo, Angola, through the donation of desks and chairs for students, blackboards for classrooms, and cabinets for the storage of books and school materials. These contributions aim to improve the learning environment and support the school’s day-to-day educational activities.

The event was attended by Judith Okonta, Regional Director, Africa Operations; José Ferreira, Country Manager; André Ngumbo, Logistics Officer; Ndilia Francisco, Local Content, CSR & Permits Coordinator; along with a representative from the Soyo local education administration.

Through initiatives such as this, Yinson Production continues to support host communities by investing in education and contributing to long-term social development.
