Yinson is thrilled to have been an exhibitor at the Offshore Technology Conference Houston 2022 held at the NRG Park, Texas, USA. The flagship conference is held annually in Houston since 1969, which Yinson has participated since 2019.

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.

Chief Executive Officer Offshore Production, Flemming Grønnegaard said, “This year’s conference is a great platform, post-pandemic, for Yinson to discuss about novel ideas face-to-face with world leaders, CEOs, and government officials from around the world. Our interaction not only centers on matters relating to the oil & gas industry but challenging ourselves to take bold climate action.”

OTC Houston ranks among the largest 200 trade shows held annually in the United States and is among the 10 largest meetings in terms of attendance. This year’s conference saw nearly 60,000 energy professionals from more than 100 countries from all over the world attending various sessions and programmes.

During one of the technical programmes, Jan-Viggo Johansen, the Vice President of Asset Lifecycle Management, presented a paper titled, ‘Strategic Roadmap for Digitalised Asset Lifecycle Management’ that was co-written by Dr. Aya Kusumawardhani, Lifecycle Efficiency Specialist. The paper anticipated the future of asset management in the energy mix and presented the strategic roadmap for digitalisation of asset lifecycle management.

Besides OTC Houston, Yinson was also an exhibitor at the recent OTC Asia, which it has been actively participated for 3 consecutive years.
