Yinson is pleased to announce that the conversion of FPSO Anna Nery has achieved 1,000,000 man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI).
This milestone was celebrated in a simple ceremony on 10 September 2020 at the Cosco Qidong shipyard, where the conversion is taking place. Numerous safety awards and commemorative gifts were presented in recognition of all project personnel.
Yinson Chief Executive Officer, Offshore Production, Mr Flemming Grønnegaard, said that the achievement was significant, given the considerable commitment, effort and means that went into maintaining the safety record.
“The Yinson team, working closely with our partner shipyard Cosco Qidong, suppliers and subcontractors, obtained this outstanding safety result amidst in a dynamic and challenging environment. I am proud to say that the team was able to manage productivity while ensuring that safety and quality are not compromised on a daily basis,” said Flemming.
The work on FPSO Anna Nery is progressing well, with procurement, engineering and construction works tracking as planned. With demolition works now completed and module fabrication works now underway, first dry dock is on track to take place at the end of September 2020.
