On 6 July 2017, Yinson celebrated the First Oil Ceremony for the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor at Takoradi, Ghana. The event saw the presence of Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo-Addo and Ghana’s former president, John Agyekum Kufuor. A celebration dinner was also held in the evening at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra Ghana.
