Yinson is honoured to have participated as an exhibitor in the Offshore Technology Conference Asia (“OTC Asia”) 2022 held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia. This marks Yinson’s third consecutive participation in OTC’s biennial Asian chapter.

The four-day event themed “Excellence in Asia: Setting the Pace for Future Energy” ran from 22 to 25 March 2022, brought together regional and international oil companies, investors, corporate oil and gas players and energy professionals to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.

This year Yinson contributed two paper presentations. Our Asset Lifecycle Management specialists Mayang Kusumawardhani and Magnus Soon Arnhus presented a paper titled, ‘Sustainable Lifecycle Cost Efficiency Model’. The paper explained how sustainability factors are considered in the cost of projects for oil & gas facilities. Our Yinson Production Packaging expert Suresh Venkatesh also presented a paper titled, ‘The Journey Towards a Net-Zero Emission Future’ in which he highlighted that the energy sector has enormous potential, and we all have a big role to play in attracting investors, building global partnerships, and driving innovation and deployment of clean energy technologies without negatively impacting the environment.

This year’s conference saw more than 15,000 unique attendees and 1,500 conference delegates from all over the world.
