Mr Alex Tan was appointed Chief Information Officer of Yinson Production in June 2024. He originally joined Yinson Holdings Berhad as Group Chief Information Officer in April 2022.

Mr Tan has over 23 years of experience in Information & Communications Technology, Software Engineering, cross-industry IT Consulting, and Digital Transformation.

Mr Tan holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Mr Ivar Lysberg joined the Company in January 2007 and was appointed SVP Operations in June 2015.

Lysberg has almost three decades of experience in the international Oil and Gas Industry including leadership roles both within Engineering, Commissioning, Project Management, Business Development and Operations.

Mr Lysberg holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a degree in Business Economics. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mr Kevin Tan was appointed Senior Vice President SVP, Project Delivery & Supply Chain on 1 November 2024. He joined Yinson Production in 2016 and has previously held the roles of Project Services Manager and Vice President VP Project Services, where he was a core member of the project execution and management team on FPSO projects.

Mr Tan has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with the last 18 years specifically in FPSO projects. His career spans roles with leading international oil and gas service companies, with involvement in engineering, procurement and construction of FPSOs, offshore platforms, and offshore field development project.

Mr Tan holds a BSc in Technology and Management from Monash University.

Mr PÃ¥l Gunnar Heistad

Mr PÃ¥l Gunnar Heistad was appointed SVP Business Development 1 April 2023. He joined Yinson Production 1 February 2016 as Tender Manager and 1 July 2020 he was appointed VP Business Development.

Mr Heistad has over 23 years international experience in the oil and gas industry, from which 18 years with developing FPSO projects. He has also been working with SURF in projects and topside EPC projects.

Mr Heistad holds a Master of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has also completed the Program for Management Development at IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Mr Alessandro Zunino

Mr Alessandro Zunino joined Yinson Production as appointed SVP Commercial on 8 July 2025.

Mr Zunino has over 28 years international experience in the oil and gas industry developing FPSO projects in Africa, Soth America and Asia.

Mr Zunino holds a Master of Engineering in Process Engineering from the University of Genoa Italy.

Qualifications and experience

Mr Maats was appointed as Director of Human Resources in April 2026. He joined Yinson Production HR profession in 2020.

Mr Maats holds a Master degree in Human Resources from Tilburg University in The Netherlands. He also completed the Chief HR Officer program from Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education.

Mr Maats has over 25 years of experience in the field of Human Resource.

Mr Erik Svendsen

Senior Vice President FLNG Development

Qualifications and experience

Mr Erik Svendsen joined Yinson Production in January 2026 as Senior Vice President, FLNG Development. He brings over 30 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong track record spanning project execution, operations, and technology development within floating production solutions.

Mr Svendsen began his career with BW Offshore, where he spent 15 years following the company’s establishment from Bergesen Shipping. During this period, he held a range of FPSO leadership roles, including Project Manager, Head of Projects, and Head of Operations. He subsequently joined NOV, where he served for 10 years. During his tenure, he was Managing Director of APL for five years and later led one of NOV’s business units as President of Floating Production Solutions.

Prior to joining Yinson Production, Mr Svendsen spent five years with Golar LNG as Chief Technology Officer, leading FLNG project execution and technology development.

Mr Svendsen holds a degree in Naval Architecture from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH) and has a certificate for Chief Engineer from the maritime sector.

Mr Olve Skjeggedal

Senior Vice President FLNG

Qualifications and experience

Mr Olve Skjeggedal holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU, completed in 1998.

Before joining Yinson Production, he spent 11 years with Golar LNG, where he held several senior roles, including Chief Technical Officer and Project Director for the Gimi FLNG conversion as part of BP’s Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project. His career also includes positions in engineering, business development, and project management at General Electric, Wärtsilä, and Höegh LNG.
