Yinson Production in Angola recently conducted a programme focusing on maternal and child health within the local community in support of World Mental Health Day. This took place across two key locations in Luanda – in Maternidade Ngangula and Hospital Pediátrico David Bernardino. Yinson Production Angola Managing Director Jose Ferreira and Human Resource Manager Edgar Kalu were present to engage with the community.
The program featured impactful sessions led by a professional psychologist, addressing critical topics such as mental health during pregnancy and postpartum, the prevention of obstetric violence, and the emotional well-being of the dedicated healthcare professionals who support mothers and children.
Yinson Production donated 200 care kits assembled for the children and their families. These kits included essential hygiene products, malaria prevention nets, and non-perishable goods.
This initiative was designed to create awareness and provide direct support to families in need. Yinson Production’s involvement in this initiative underscored our strong dedication to the ongoing well-being of the local Angolan community.
