Last month, volunteers from Yinson Production Brazil visited the Refugee Support Centre in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, where they donated four air-conditioning units to the centre’s classrooms. The Refugee Support Centre is home to refugees from 15 different countries and provides social, legal, tutoring, and psychological assistance, as well as Portuguese language classes.

The air-conditioning units were donated to ensure that refugees can continue their learning and avail themselves of support services comfortably during the hot summer months in Rio. During the visit, volunteers listened to the refugees’ stories and engaged participants in interactive activities. They also introduced Yinson Production to the community and shared information about our ongoing local initiatives, partnerships, and operations in the country.

Through this initiative, Yinson Production reaffirms its commitment to empowering communities and supporting sustainable development.
