Yinson Production Miri recently participated in and sponsored the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) Program 2.0 “Nature in Camp”, a three-day event held at the Kota Samarahan Army Camp from 26 – 28 July 2025. The program brought together over 100 students from 10 primary schools across Sarawak, offering a unique blend of outdoor learning and hands-on STEM experiences in a military setting.Â
As part of our commitment to community development and youth empowerment, Yinson Production Miri sponsored two local schools, SK Sungai Arang and SK Poyut, enabling their students to participate in this enriching programme. The event featured a range of engaging activities, including robotic skills, a Water Rocket Challenge, and interactive booths showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as electronic cars and 3D printing machines.Â
On the final day of the camp, we hosted a special session, introducing students to the company's values, operations, and community contributions. The highlight of the session was a “Build a Balloon Car” activity, where students designed and raced balloon-powered vehicles, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity.Â
Yinson Production Miri is proud to have played a role in inspiring the next generation of innovators and looks forward to continuing its support for educational initiatives that make a positive impact. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, participating schools, and students.Â
