Yinson is proud to announce that FPSO Anna Nery project has exceeded 3 million man-hours without lost time injury. This is a significant safety milestone for the project as Yinson is dedicated to achieving our HSE objectives of zero harm to people and the environment.
On 25 May 2021, we celebrated this milestone with an award ceremony at Cosco Changxing Island in recognition of all project personnel at site. Yinson’s site team, senior management and representatives from Cosco Qidong and Cosco Changxing Island graced the event.
Project Manager Scott Bendiksen presented Cosco with a memorial plaque. Several safety awards and commemorative gifts were also presented in recognition of all project personnel for their efforts in maintaining the safety standards.
“This is indeed a notable safety milestone made possible by the project teams’ commitment to HSE. I would like to specially thank Cosco senior management and HSE team for their relentless support, and a big thanks to our project HSE team led by Ivan Chee Wei U for all their efforts,” said Mr Bendiksen.
Despite challenges brought about by the ongoing pandemic we are pleased that the project is on track and continues to progress well.
Heartiest congratulations to the FPSO Anna Nery project team, our project partner Sumitomo, and our client Petrobras for the achievement!
