Yinson Production is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Petroleum Training and Education Fund (Petrofund).\u00a0Petrofund\u00a0is a government statutory body in Namibia established\u00a0to build human capacity in the nation's upstream petroleum sector through scholarships and specialised training.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

As we advance our journey to become a long-term player in Namibia\u2019s oil and gas sector,\u00a0we are opening our office in January 2026, deepening our commitment to support the country\u2019s development. The signing of this MOU is a significant milestone for Yinson Production and a testament to our long-term vision for Namibia.<\/span><\/p>

The MOU reinforces our joint commitment to supporting the growth and sustainability of Namibia\u2019s petroleum industry. Through this collaboration, Yinson Production will implement a series of strategic local content initiatives, including\u00a0an\u00a0On-the-Job Training\u00a0programme, Internship, University support, local supply chain, maritime\u00a0scholarship and technical capacity building\u00a0programme\u00a0for state agencies. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

These initiatives reflect our dedication to nurturing local talent, strengthening service providers, empowering academic institutions and supporting national capabilities as Namibia enters an exciting new phase in offshore energy development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
